Privacy notice

Last updated 2026-09-15

This notice explains how European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP) uses this contact and membership workspace. For privacy questions or requests, contact dpo@eccp.com.

Information in the workspace

Records may include names, business contact details, employers, company information, membership type and status, representative coverage, committee participation, industry interests, mailing preferences and event participation. We also retain source references and authorized change history. Staff accounts include account security information and access records.

Why information is used

The workspace supports contact administration, membership records, committees, communications preferences, duplicate review and controlled data exchange. Information may come from you, your organization, authorized staff, source spreadsheets and connected services. Staff must use information only for authorized purposes and an applicable lawful basis. Inclusion in the database is not consent to receive marketing.

Access and sharing

Authorized staff receive access according to their responsibilities. Reviewed records may be exported or provided to approved service providers, including Glue Up for membership administration and Mailchimp for communications. Subscription evidence and suppression restrictions still apply. Exported files must be protected and used only for their approved purpose.

Retention and protection

We restrict access, require staff account security and keep a history of important decisions. Source files, operational records and audit evidence follow the applicable retention schedule and any legal preservation requirements. A restriction or limited suppression record may need to remain after other contact details are removed so that future imports do not restart unwanted communications.

Your rights and questions

Subject to applicable law, you may request information about processing, access or correction of your personal information, object to processing, or request blocking, removal or portability. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Send requests to dpo@eccp.com. You may also contact the National Privacy Commission.
